PEAK’S PEOPLE, PLACES AND EVENTS

When I think of disruptors… I think about that time we set off the fire alarm here at Peak Provisions.

We had to evacuate the entire building to the street.

Yup. That happened but it’s a story for another time.

I want to talk about creative disruptors.

Two of whom are my close friends and I also have the pleasure and privilege of working with them all the time.

Swtchhouse Media is a digital marketing, content, and brand management company that started in our mountain town in 2016.

They cover it all. From Graphic Design, Social media management, Photo & Video, Google analytics, SEO optimization, to content creation and more.

The list goes on but you’re getting the idea.

Robyn and Nate Kelly are the co-owners and operators of this media house. Between them, they have a very impressive list of clients and accolades.

With 7+ years under their belts, business is booming and there is no sign of slowing down for them.

It’s not really surprising because both of them are incredibly caring and thoughtful people. And they both also happen to be VERY talented at what they do.

They have helped dozens of businesses and individuals in Squamish alone.

Bringing these businesses' stories, goals and ambitions to life. Helping those local owners and operators reach more people to expand their brand.

Swtchhouse Media has etched a fantastic spot in the growth of our community with more to come. They are now providing services to more clients in Whistler, the Sea to Sky corridor and Vancouver as well.

I am beyond excited that I hired them to work with me. They’re incredible and I need a team with focus and a distinct ability to understand what it is I’m trying to create.

I’m no prima-donna by any means. Quite the opposite.

I need their creativity to “zhuzh up” the unfiltered thoughts that come flying out of my mouth.

They have a special ability to make my gibberish and unorganized bullet points come to life.

AND they add pictures & videos… making it look incredible and flow in a way I couldn’t have imagined.

Their love for Squamish and the Sea to Sky corridor shows up in the work they create. The websites, social content and countless other services they provide ooze with passion.

The Swtchhouse Media team is deeply rooted and invested in this amazing town we get to call home.

I’m pretty stoked at how fast we became friends. And it wouldn’t surprise me if everyone who gets to work with them feels the same way I do.

PROVISIONS WE LOVE

People have been asking… so we listen.

Starting next week our very own Peak Provisions soups will be offered for sale in the store's refrigerated section. Take them home and enjoy them anytime you’d like.

I will be working towards offering more and more of our own recipes and “fan favourite” items as take-home options.

Certain items will only be offered here at the lunch counter, but our goal is to provide you with all the items you want to enjoy. Be it at home or anywhere else you would like to eat them.

Speaking about items to take home…

Farm fresh eggs from North Arm Farm will now be delivered every Wednesday and Friday to the store.

Be sure to pick these beauties up for your breakfast and baking recipes.

You might as well pair it up with some Oyama Presliced bacon. Bacon that is done right.

Pre-sliced and ready to be enjoyed with fresh eggs any day of the week.

Oyama Sausage is a Granville Island staple and I’m so happy to be providing you with their quality products here in Squamish.

Come in and stock up on all your favourites.

And while we are on the topic of reservations…

Friday night “happy hour” reservations will now be accepted. Starting next week on May 12th reserve your spot and come kick off your weekend with us.
